Celebrating our ninth year
as a Yacht Club on the Delaware River in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
In the last
nine (9) years as a member of the DELAWARE RIVER
YACHTSMEN'S LEAGUE (DRYL), The Delaware River Rats Yacht Club was founded in
September of 1999.Our club membership include participant in the Delaware River
Yachtsmen's League (DRYL) and the Pennsylvania Boating Association, Chesapeake
Bay Yacht Club Association. Our Club members enjoy special privileges at many of
the other participating clubs along the Delaware River and the bay. Many of our
members are active in US Coast Guard Auxiliary, Pennsylvania Boating
Association, and The National Boating Federation, Chesapeake Bay Yacht Club
Association. We meet every 2nd Thursday of each month in Philadelphia area. Our
meetings are held at Kelly’s Restaurant and Tavern 4201 Cheltenham Avenue

Our activities include opening and closing day, picnics, holiday parties,
outings, Ski Trips and dinners, including shrimp night and crab night and our
happy hour party’s We participate in on-water activities as raft-ups, evening
cruises to the bay, We also will participate in all the DRYL activities,
including the Queen's Pageant, the Annual Banquet, and the Summer Picnic. We
have great Get a ways for the winter, as well as numerous activities of other
clubs. Although most of our members currently keep their boats in the Delaware
River / Chesapeake Bay area, our new burgee can be seen all over the area. Our
active membership includes many husband-wife teams with kids cruising as a Jr.
